Meet the Varner Family


Aaron Varner is a life long citizen of Newton County and has been married to his wife Ann for 39 years. They are members of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. They have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law and four grandchildren that live in Newton County. Todd and Tuesday Rawls with their children Jet and Riley and Ginger and John Johnson with their children Skye and Jonathan.

Aaron Varner is a member of the V.F.W. Post 2938, and was a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, 25 Infantry Division U.S. Army, Board of Directors of the Northeast Georgia Regional Development Commission, Board of Director of Newton Reads, member of Newton County Chamber of Commerce, Dekalb Technical College Board of Directors, Board of Managers ACCG, Stake Holders Advisory Committee for Georgia Sedimentation, Erosion, and Soil Control Certification Program, GRN Community Board Member (Mental Health, Retardation, and Substance Abuse), Newton County Board of Health, and member of the Newton County Republican Party.
