The Newton County Homebuilders Association has endorsed and is actively campaigning for my opponent Kathy Morgan. Click here for their continued campaigning. This is the very organization that sued Newton County over impact fees and lost. The Newton County Homebuilders Association mission states "The most important benefit is our involvement in the government and regulatory arenas. By being a part of these processes on the local, state and national levels, we help to keep you in business."

Our residentail/commercial tax imbalance began in 1990 and continues. My opponent has published on her website and talks about this tax imbalance being created over my last 2 terms. This is simply untrue and a political gimmick. We have and continue to attract quality new businesses to Newton County in partnership with the Newton County Chamber of Commerce and the State of Georgia.
